Volunteering

Volunteers are the back bone of the club.  We are a community that relies on many hands making light work. There is so much you can do to help on and off the pitch – you do not need to be a football expert. It is rewarding and fun!

Become a team manager

Team Managers are critical to the operation of the club and creating a great environment for our members to enjoy the game.  They are the link between the members, the club operational staff and ultimately the committee.  It is an extremely rewarding role. The club provides induction and training at the start of every season.

Referee Program

Without referees, we don’t have a game.  That is why Ashburton have had a referee training program since 2000 headed by Barry Poulsen.  The club has trained many referees that are involved at all levels of the game.  Minimum age is 14 years old.
