Bananas are well priced this week, and

Sumo mandarins are also out the front on special to help you build your vitamin C levels!

Dragon fruit is back in-store after a short hiatus.

Apart from being nice to look at,

Dragon Fruit is high in Vitamin C and antioxidants.

The floods up north have a slowed the supply of strawberries from Queensland,

But we should see them pick up soon.

Local Pink Lady Apples are a favourite in store this week.

They’re grown in Wandin and are the only apple with a genuine pink hue to their skin.

They’re crunchy and bursting with tangy sweet juice.

Pink Lady apples are handpicked – each apple is gently grasped in the palm and rolled upward before breaking off without damage.

They’re my pick of the week!

For those who love marmalade, we have a good supply of Seville Oranges that have just come in.

Along with the classic bittersweet marmalade, these tart, tangy oranges inspired Grand Marnier and Cointreau liqueurs.

Seville’s are the best orange to cook, especially if you want to add sugar, as with jams and marmalades.

They’re perfect for candying for desserts, grazing platters and drinks too!

These are not an eating variety but are perfect when cooked in sweet or savoury dishes.
